Recess Enrichment
The PTA hosts monthly ‘Recess Enrichment’ sessions, facilitating simple and fun art projects with students during the 1st recess. It's a great way for kids to express their creativity and enjoy a break from the usual playground routine. They love it!

Watch D.O.G.S.
Fathers, grandfathers, and uncles are invited to join our volunteer security team. Watch D.O.G.S. helps enhance school safety and provides positive male role models for the students.

Spirit Wear
Our PTA designs awesome swag for students and families to wear. Purchase your spirit wear and show your school pride. A portion of the proceeds supports school programs.

Ralph's Card Fundraiser
Link your Ralph's card to our school, and a portion of your grocery purchases will be donated to our school. It's an easy and convenient way to contribute to our school.

'Farm Fresh to You' Fundraiser
Use the code "MAKOS" with Farm Fresh to You, and they will donate 10% of your order total to our school. Enjoy fresh, organic produce delivered to your door while supporting our students.

Yearbooks
The PTA collaborates with Treering to design our school’s yearbooks. Participate in the cover contest, and submit your own photos to be featured. Celebrate the year's memories and milestones with a beautifully crafted yearbook.

National PTA Reflections: Art Contest
Submissions due Sept 28th
Theme: “Accepting Imperfection”
That’s the theme for the 2024-25 Reflections Art Program, which has been bringing the arts to life for more than 10 million students since 1969. California State PTA and its members, families and kids are on the forefront of this amazing program, which increases community awareness of the importance of arts in education.

Science Party
Wednesday, Jan 22nd I 5:30PM - 7:30PM
Join us at the VdM Blacktop and MPR for a Science Party! This year’s Science Night is over 3x bigger than previous years and will include hands-on chemistry experiments, dry ice and a giant outdoor telescope as well as a chance to enjoy the science of cotton candy, popcorn and bubbles! Don't miss your chance to win prizes and more!
There will also be a fundraising taco truck coming, so we encourage the whole family to come and make a night out of it!

Book Fair
Monday Jan 27 - Wednesday Jan 29
Join us three times a year for our exciting Book Fair! The PTA hosts these events to encourage a love of reading among students, offering a wide selection of books for all ages. Proceeds help fund school programs and initiatives.

Read-A-Thon Fundraiser
January 24th - February 7th
Students are sponsored by family and friends to read, raising funds for our school. It's a fun way to promote literacy, enjoy reading, and win exciting prizes!
